Welcome to our Feminist Fiction Reading Group! A place discover an array of titles and themes by female authors selected each month by Eleanor. From a feminist perspective we will be reading and discussing all sorts of works by female authors from forgotten classics to contemporary literary fiction.

Our featured book for August will be Sylvia Townsend Warner's The Corner That Held Them. Published in 1948 this is a spellbinding piece of historical fiction that explores convent life for medieval women.

There’s no need to prepare or pressure to contribute at all - just bring your lovely self - but do feel free to mention a particular passage or character that you enjoyed during your reading.
