The Maclean Brothers on Three Brothers in a Boat
They captivated the world in 2025 with their epic voyage across the Pacific, and now they come to St Andrews with a ocean's worth of tales.
When the Maclean brothers rowed non-stop and unsupported across the entire Pacific they made history and raised over a million pounds for charity. But there's miles more to the story than that.
Just a few years earlier, they were complete novices. What followed would test their resolve, their relationships and their belief in one another.
Nail-biting, uplifting and inspiring, this is the true story of three ordinary people achieving something extraordinary.
The Maclean brothers - Ewan, Jamie and Lachlan - first made global headlines in 2019 when they became the fastest trio to row across the Atlantic Ocean, covering 3,000 miles in 35 days and breaking the previous speed record by nearly a week.
Determined to keep working together for causes they believed in, they founded The Maclean Foundation, with a mission to raise funds for clean water projects.
In 2025 they set the Fastest Known Time for rowing the full Pacific Ocean, raising over GBP1 million for communities in Madagascar.
