Julia Harding on The World Atlas of Wine
We are pleased to welcome Julia Harding for the latest edition of The World Atlas of Wine. Join us for an evening of tasters and knowledge from an expert in their field.
Few wine books can be called classic, but the first edition of The World Atlas of Wine made publishing history when it appeared in 1971 and subsequent editions have ensured it remains the most authoritative, must-have wine reference work available. This ninth edition will bring readers, both old and new, up to date with the fascinating and rewarding world of wine.
To reflect all the changes in the global wine scene since the last edition in 2019, 18 brand-new maps have been added to the wealth of superb cartography in the book. The incisive text has been given a complete overhaul to address the topics of most vital interest to today's wine-growers and drinkers including the impact of climate change resulting in new wine-growing in the far north of Europe and the sustainability initiatives being explored globally.
Julia Harding is a distinguished wine writer, editor, and Master of Wine, renowned for her expertise and attention to detail. For over 20 years, she has been Jancis Robinson's senior editor at JancisRobinson.com.
