Acclaimed comedian and bestselling author Ian Moore joins us for the latest Follet Valley Mystery, Death in le Jardin.

On the surface, Richard Ainsworth has life where he wants it. Middle-aged navel gazing and Olympic levels of procrastination are exactly what rural life in France should be about.

Then crisis hits his posh B&B when redoubtable housekeeper, Madame Tablier, is accused of murder. Even more surprisingly, it's the murder of a former fiance, turned brother-in-law. None of which the stubborn old woman denies.

Valerie d'Orcay is having none of it and their investigation leads them to a strange tourist garden village, where backbiting, recriminations and even former colleagues provide a deadly scenario more tangled than knotweed.

Ian Moore is a leading stand-up comedian, known for his sharp, entertaining punditry. A BBC TV and radio regular, he was a Champion on Richard Osman's House of Games and stars in Radio 4's The Now Show. His first novel was the bestselling Death and Croissants. Death in le Jardin is the fourth novel in the Follet Valley series, each of which can be read as standalone novels, and which are filled with the all wit and humour you would expect! Ian lives in rural France with his family, where he seeks solace in the production of fine chutney.
