Topping & Company Booksellers present Tiny Tales, with guest author, Rachel Plummer!

We are thrilled to be welcoming local author and poet, Rachel Plummer to the children's room for Tiny Tales. Rachel's beautiful picture book, The Big Day is a huge favourite among our booksellers, and we're so excited to celebrate it with the author themselves!

A GIANT celebration of love . . . When a giant, sparkly blue envelope arrives in the post, one tiny human knows just what to do. They set off to a magical wedding where witches, elves, unicorns and more gather in excitement. They watch the giant grooms sweep in with a burst of gorgeous colour and exchange vows, before everyone tucks in to an other-worldly wedding feast. This is a wedding they'll never forget! Lift the flaps to uncover the details as the wedding unfolds, from the RSVP to the magical menu. With beautiful poetry by Rachel Plummer and stunning illustrations by Forrest Burdett, this charming picture book sends a message to all: that love is just love, whether giant or small.

Tiny Tales is for children up to 5 years-old. It's free of charge, but we would appreciate it if you could sign up to help us estimate numbers.

The reading group will last for approximately 45 minutes.
Children get some snacks and we will have plenty of tea and coffee for the accompanying adults!
