Tiny Tales ~ Our Picture Book Reading Group

Morag Hood is an award-winning children's author from Edinburgh, where she lives with her husband. Morag graduated from the Cambridge School of Art with a masters degree in children's illustration, and still enjoys painting, cutting and sticking, and drawing with freshly sharpened pencils in her Edinburgh studio. Her favourite thing to draw is eyebrows. Morag has a unique and hilarious voice, which combined with her artistic skill, has created some irresistibly charming picture books including Teapot Trouble, Brenda is a Sheep, and Spaghetti Hunters. She is joining us to celebrate the publication of her newest picture book, Seahorse is Furious (and there is nothing you can do about it)!

A funny, affectionate and reassuring take on the bad day blues from the bestselling creator of I Am Bat and Colin and Lee, Carrot and Pea.

Seahorse is having a bad day, in a terrible week, in an awful ocean. He woke up wrong and stubbed his tail and everything is wet!

So don't tell him funny stories or give him a hug, and DEFINITELY don't give him his favourite snacks on his special plate…

Because Seahorse is furious and there is NOTHING you can do about it. Or is there...?

Tiny Tales is for children up to 5 years-old. It's free of charge, but we would appreciate it if you could sign up to help us estimate numbers.

The reading group will last for approximately 45 minutes.
Children get some snacks and we will have plenty of tea and coffee for the accompanying adults!
