BBC Radio 4’s Bookclub is coming to our bookshop on Wednesday 18th June for a special, intimate event with the bestselling author Dorothy Koomson.
The book under discussion for this month’s recording will be The Ice Cream Girls, first published in 2010. It is a gripping thriller that examines two teenagers accused of murder. One was imprisoned, one was set free. Twenty years later, one of them is doing all she can to clear her name and the other is frantically trying to keep her secrets.
The programme is based on audience questions so if you are attending please think of one to ask Dorothy on the night.
It is recommended that the audience read The Ice Cream Girls prior to the evening. We have plenty of copies available from the bookshop in advance.
The recording will start at 18:30 and is free to attend. To register your interest to book on for this event, please email bookclub@bbc.co.uk. We ask that you aim to arrive at the bookshop by 18:15.
