We are delighted to welcome incredible journalist and TV presenter, Julia Bradbury, to the bookshop for an evening discussing medicine, fitness, and the health hacks that can change your life.

Following her own battle with cancer, Julia embarked on a rigorous journey to reclaim her health. Through countless tests and examinations – both physical and emotional – she sought to answer one pivotal question: Can you go from a cancer diagnosis to being healthier and fitter than ever before?

In Hack Yourself Healthy Julia embarks on a journey to test, trial, and discover medically-backed ways to improve her healthspan by optimising her wellbeing, which led her to discover a benign cyst “smack bang” in the middle of her brain. Hack Yourself Healthy draws from all the research, interviews with world-renowned experts and personal experiments that Julia has carried out during the last two years. At this event Julia will discuss the practical tips and accessible science-based strategies she’s discovered in her journey to optimise every aspect of our health and wellbeing.

Julia Bradbury is a well-loved television presenter, author, nature advocate, charity campaigner and Sunday Times bestselling author of Walk Yourself Happy.
