Bath's very own Jaq Brewer launches her debut cookbook, The Saffron Table: Food for Gatherings - a celebration of a lifetime of generous cooking, unforgettable gatherings and food made to share.

For 18 years Jaq has been a loyal supporter of the cookery events here at the Bath bookshop. From cooking literary lunches for The River Cafe's Ruth Rogers and The Hairy Bikers to making delicious audience tasters for Raymond Blanc and Ottolenghi events, she can turn her culinary hands to anything and everything. It's a pleasure to welcome her front-stage.

The Saffron Table is filled with vibrant recipes for every kind of gathering, from relaxed family suppers to full-blown celebrations. The book features a foreword by world-renowned Italian chef Gennaro Contaldo and pays tribute to the late Antonio Carluccio OBE, whose friendship left a lasting mark on Jaq’s approach to food and hospitality.
