Join us for Little Learners, a new series of interactive author talks for curious little minds in collaboration with the British Museum. We're delighted to be hosting Blue Peter award-winning author Andy Seed to discuss his latest title Going for Gold: An Ancient Greek Puzzle Mystery. For children ages 7+ and their parents/guardians.

When Phoebe and Leon discover that a pentathlon athlete is cheating in the Olympic Games, they decide that they must stop him before it's too late. But there are a lot of puzzles to solve along the way, from a mysterious message discovered in the temple to a suspicious conversation at the stadion. Will Phoebe and Leon be able to stop the villain before the winner is crowned? It's a race to the finish line! Featuring ancient Greek messages, maps, logic puzzles and more, children will enjoy immersing themselves in ancient Greece and taking part in the story.

Andy Seed is an internationally bestselling author, his book The Silly Book of Side-Splitting Stuff won the Blue Peter Book Award in 2015 and his titles for adults include the hugely popular All Teachers Great and Small. Andy is a former teacher who now visits over 50 schools a year, inspiring children to become readers by sharing his enthusiasm for books, humour, nature, sport and the great outdoors.
