An Evening with Andrzej Sapkowski of The Witcher
Thursday 30th October
Bath Pavilion, N Parade Rd, Bathwick, Bath BA2 4EU
6.15pm
7pm
Join us for an evening in Bath with Andrzej Sapkowski, author of global phenomenon The Witcher, to celebrate his latest novel - The Witcher: Crossroads of Ravens.
While we would usually pre-sign stock with an author before an event, Andrzej can't commit to signing as many books as there are of you. Because of this, the books you collect on the door will not be signed - but, there will be a signing session after the event for 1 hour only where you can queue to get your book signed by Andrzej.
He will only be signing one copy of Crossroads of Ravens per person, and he isn't signing any other titles or merch. Please do not bring extras along as these will not be signed.
As we only have one hour for the signing, please be mindful of Andrzej's time, booksellers' time, and your fellow attendee's time - we will do our very best to make sure you are all seen. If you do not want a dedication, we'll open doors as soon as the event finishes so that you can exit accordingly.
Witchers are not born. They are made.
Before he was the White Wolf or the Butcher of Blaviken, Geralt of Rivia was simply a fresh graduate of Kaer Morhen, stepping into a world that neither understands nor welcomes his kind.
And when an act of naive heroism goes gravely wrong, Geralt is only saved from the noose by Preston Holt, a grizzled witcher with a buried past and an agenda of his own.
Under Holt's guiding hand, Geralt begins to learn what it truly means to walk the Path - to protect a world that fears him, and to survive in it on his own terms. But as the line between right and wrong begins to blur, Geralt must decide to become the monster everyone expects, or something else entirely.
This is the story of how legends are made - and what they cost.
Please note, early bird vouchers do not include a copy of the book but instead are fully redeemable, meaning that you may have extra to pay on the evening of the event if you would like a copy of the featured book and have an early bird voucher.
